- Transport Manager
Two of these roles were maternity covers both for one year, two were the result of internal promotions and the remainder were additional headcount.
We would be working across the business with a variety of Managers and Directors and, naturally all these contacts wanted to start interviewing as quickly as possible.
The first interviews took place in 48 hours – we were able to draw on our existing candidate base and our Resourcer was very busy identifying talent across all these roles. And we had ads that sold the job and the company out on major and specialised job boards for all roles within 24 hours.
Ironically the first role filled – The Supply Chain Manager (who was on our database) was the last person to actually start their new role as they had the longest notice to serve.
The two maternity contract covers were sorted and filled and they started 4 weeks from taking the brief.
Within 7 weeks all roles were offered and accepted and 6 weeks later the last candidate joined the company.
